Hall & Kay, a leading UK fire protection and security solutions provider, faced the challenge of modernising their operations and enhancing efficiency across their network. To address these challenges, they sought a robust solution to streamline their fire service engineering division, especially in the face of a growing customer base and increasingly complex regulatory requirements. 

JLL Corrigo Enterprise  

Hall & Kay implemented JLL Corrigo Enterprise, a comprehensive work order management platform, for their Fire Pump Services Division. This solution provided dynamic scheduling for 22 engineers across 2,800 sites and custom procedure templates to digitise data capture for UK statutory regulations. Real-time dashboards and reports offered effective operational management, providing crucial insights, especially for handling reactive emergencies. A collaborative approach ensured smooth adoption, engaging engineers in the design and change management process. 

Transformational impact 

The implementation of JLL Corrigo Enterprise transformed Hall & Kay’s operations in multiple ways. They gained unprecedented insight into work order schedules, managing over 7,000 orders annually, significantly enhancing their operational visibility. Technical verification time was reduced from 3-4 weeks to just 2-3 days, streamlining processes and boosting overall efficiency.  

The solution saw widespread adoption, with 24 full-time service engineers utilising JLL Corrigo Mobile across the UK and 50 operations staff leveraging JLL Corrigo Enterprise. Improved time tracking and visibility into job statuses and equipment conditions allowed for data-driven decision-making. This led to optimised resource management and proactive maintenance, significantly reducing downtime. Additionally, streamlined asset management capabilities improved property-level asset data analysis, further enhancing operational efficiency.
