Implementing a smart, flexible, successful hybrid model that can accommodate fluctuations in occupancy and space optimization is complicated. A good place to start, according to polled attendees, is with the technology to optimize spaces, an employee experience app, and an assessment for going hybrid.

When we combine the “top priority” and “high priority” results, the most important considerations for creating hybrid workplaces crystallize:

  • 82% see an immediate need for technology to support space optimization
  • 73% feel there’s a dire need for a hybrid workplace planning assessment
  • 71% indicated there’s an immediate need for an employee experience app
  • 55% recognize the urgency for dynamic space planning
  • 54% of participants see an immediate need for technology solutions that enables: (a) contactless experience, (b) just-in-time facilities management and automation, and (c) procurement and automated supplies or food replenishment
  • 45% of participants see an immediate need for technology that offers predictive and real-time space utilization
